Erik Green joined Giant Development as Senior Estimator in November 2024, bringing extensive expertise from his previous role, where he has held the Senior Estimator title since 2021. In his position, Erik carefully quantifies and calculates the costs associated with turnkey sitework operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. With a background that spans both academia and hands-on field experience, Erik holds a Bachelor’s degree in Fisheries, Wildlife, and Conservation Biology from NC State and a Master’s degree from NC Central in Earth, Environment, and Geospatial Sciences, specializing in GIS.

Having lived in Raleigh since 1988, Erik’s roots are deep in North Carolina. Growing up in Bahama, NC, he developed a love for the outdoors through hunting, fishing, and dirt biking. He also played baseball for 16 years and aspires to visit every MLB stadium. In his free time, Erik pursues treasure hunting across the U.S., combining his GIS expertise and analytical skills to uncover hidden history.
