Jody Penny joined Giant Development’s team as Trucking Manager in November 2019, taking charge of various crucial responsibilities. He oversees the management of company drivers, handles the day-to-day logistics of company dump truck drivers, coordinates with outside trucking companies, and tracks the productivity of dump trucks.
With 20 years of experience in operations and logistics management, Jody brings a wealth of expertise to his role. He was born in Raleigh, NC, and raised in Angier, NC, just 20 miles south of Raleigh. Jody is an alumnus of NC State University, where he earned a degree in Business Management.
Outside of work, Jody leads an active lifestyle, enjoying activities like weightlifting and spending time at the beach. He’s a passionate supporter of both The Steelers and Wolfpack teams, and he’s also known to rock out to 80s hair metal. Most importantly, Jody cherishes spending time with his wife, Johni, and their three children.
